The Collector of historical letters and documents

I have been collecting historical letters and documents for the last 40 years. When I am up close to a document written or signed by a great figure from history it always gives me a thrill. Whether it be Winston Churchill or Buddy Holly; Marilyn Monroe or Beatrix Potter, I feel the connection  to history in my bones. Beautifully framed and hanging on my wall, these items have always been a talking point of visitors to my home. .

Historical letters and documents are also an investment for the future. In days gone by, people communicated in  letter form, but in today's world, the art of letter writing is disappearing fast. I cannot imagine future generations framing emails and hanging them on their walls! It just would not have the same magical aura. Therefore, historical letters and documents, written or signed by famous people over the last few hundred years will become more and more scarce and more and more in demand. As such, more and more valuable.

Now for the first time I have opened up my collection for sale and am offering you the opportunity to share in my passion and begin your own collection. Or maybe it could be the most wonderful gift for a special birthday or anniversary?.

I acquired all the items offered on this website from the most reputable sources, and are therefore sold with a guarantee of authenticity.

Please enjoy viewing these wonderful items

FRAMING

All framing utilises Art Glass. Similar to Museum glass, it gives enhanced protection from light and from the environment.

Art glass also minimises reflections. With a 99% reflection reduction appearing to be virtually invisible, allowing all colours and details to be rich and clear.

Every frame is individually designed to reflect the historical item in the best way possible.
